Restaurants and Bars - Eat and Drink
Whilst in the park you’ll have to fairly self sufficient. This goes for food, water and gas, so stock up in the surrounding towns before entering. Be aware, there is no potable water in the park except at the Visitor Centers. Boiling, filtering, or treating with chemicals does not make the water drinkable.
- Cedar Pass Lodge Restaurant Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a view of the badlands from your table! Convenience food and snack items are also available. It's open April-October, 7am-8.30pm in Summer, 8am-4.30pm in Fall.
If you need to stock up on supplies:
- Interior Located two miles west of the park on Hwy 44 with services which include a post office, grocery store, gas stations and auto service year round.
- Wall Located 30 miles north-west from the Ben Reifel Visitor Center at the western end of the Badlands Loop Road (exit 110 on I-90). Motels, banking, pharmacy, medical clinic, gas, restaurants and most services are available. The famous Wall Drug store is located here as well.
- Rapid City Located 80 miles west from the Ben Reifel Visitor Center with all services for visitors including accommodation, restaurants, gas stations, a hospital and a Visitor Center.
