Mt Hotham Village has a range of places to eat, and a quick stroll through Hotham Central will provide many options. The Summit Bar in the Snowbird Inn has a good range of meals and is very popular for lunch, and the General Store by the base of Big D is open year round with good cheap pizza, a bottle shop and a grocery store carrying the essentials, as well as the best views. Of course, you can bring your own too!

There are a few bars to choose from, the two most popular are: Swindlers in Hotham Central, which is expensive and full of the young and raging set, and The General next to Big D which has more of a locals feel, still very busy but a bit cheaper. You can also try the bar in Zirky's or the Avalanche Bar in Arlberg.

There is also a good selection of bars and restaurants in Dinner Plain just 14 kilometres down the road. A night bus from Hotham runs there most of the season on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights.
