Visitor Center

If you need some extra help, the Byron Bay Visitor Centre is in the Old Stationmaster's Cottage in the centre of town, between the main bus stop and the old railway station. They can help you find a wide range of Byron Bay accommodation and suggest activities and trips. You can also get a free Byron Bay map!

Schoolies

During late November/early December, celebrating school leavers from across Australia travel to Byron Bay as the alternative to the mainstream ‘Schoolies’ weeks that happen further north on the Gold Coast. If it’s not your thing, then maybe give Byron a miss at this time of year.
